Two beautiful buildings, one wooden on stilts with three bedroom and a big porch, the other a concrete cabin on the beach, you can look from the porch and watch the sun set over the beautiful mountain, the sea is 90 ft from the guesthouse where you can relax in a hammock and watch the sun rise or just relax and watch the different birds in the beautiful garden, Seagull's Nest Guest house is on the Southside of Hopkins Village in the Stann Creek District, Belize,the village is rich with the Garifuna culture descendants of Africa, manatee and the different birds on shore are great to watch Seagull's is on the south side of Hopkins Village a beautiful place with friendly people it is located 18 miles from Dangriga Town off the Southern Highway.
Hopkins, to the east is the beautiful Caribbean Sea to the west is the Victoria peak 8 miles away is the Jaguar Preserve with it beautiful rain forest, at the neighboring village of Sittee River which is 2 miles away, we have the river where it is wonderful for canoeing and there is the Sarpon sugar mill which was built in the early seventeen centuries ,10 miles away there is horse back riding with trails that are beautiful, in Hopkins we have the drumming center where you can go to hear the Garifuna drums and see the different dances that are all cultural on the 19th November i would recommend you come enjoy the Garifuna celebration it is worth seeing, we have the famous dive shop Hamanasi with highly trained divers come see the barrier reef ,or you can just relax in a hammock on the beach with a cold drink of your choice, just 1 hour away you can be at the blue which is worth seeing or go to one of the Mayan ruins, night life karaoke on Thurs and Sun and Sat dancing .
